A girl needs some pretty summer sandals

I keep hearing this voice inside my head telling me, "Buy these." And I keep telling it, "No, I can't. Haven't you seen our checkbook balance* lately?" But, if I'm not going to BlogHer then I'm saving like $800, so it's almost like I'm saving money by buying the sandals, don't you agree?

* To be clear, I don't actually balance my checkbook and I do most of my banking online, but it just doesn't feel right to say, "Haven't you logged in to our online account lately?"
