Bells will ring, the sun will shine...

Thursday late afternoon. Yes, I'm still on break from this site, I just thought you might want to know that...I'M GETTING MARRIED. It's official: TCB has become TCF (The Cute Fiancé). We're taking our vows on Friday, April 13th in a simple ceremony with a Justice of the Peace, our parents, and our very dearest friends. Many of you have been on this rollercoaster with me for several years and to you I promise that he's really the one. I told Gloria that it's like one of those puzzles you have when you're still a baby...the ones with all of the different shaped holes and blocks and you keep trying to put the circle in the square hole and get frustrated because that's not the right block but it's the block you love. He's a square and I'm a square and my heart just sings with the quiet knowledge that he's the one. There's nothing loud or flashy about our love for one another, just a deep, abiding desire to make the other happy and to make a life together. (Amen.)

To those who are single and wonder if Life still has any surprises left for you, buckle up, because I'd never have predicted this for myself and certainly not at nearly 40 years old, but God does things in His own way and we are just here for the ride.
